Fun fact- the appearance of the two people here are based off of me and my girlfriend. I wanted to see some more t4t art depicting the love between transmascs and transfems, so I did it myself
If I'm being honest, I'm pretty sick of the depiction of trans men as either skinny twinks or super buff, since most transmascs I know are fat and have patches of body hair and stretchmarks- I find these traits beautiful, and really wanted to spotlight them. A lot of people have expressed how happy this made them, to finally see art that actually looks like them... honestly, this is why I love making art like this
A sticker design I came up with... I never ended up making them, but I really love the phrase. There are so many people out there who would like us to not be who we are, but we will continue to be so, whether they like it or not.
I made this after I went to a comic festival, after spending so much time around only cis people it was so relieving and incredible to be in a space with so many other trans people, the feeling of making eye contact with another trans person in public is what I wanted to capture here
This art is pretty old, I made it back in 2019, after graduading high school. I'd been dating my girlfriend for around 6 months back then, and it really made me realize how valuable the love between two trans people is (in case you're wondering, we're coming up on our 5 year anniversary and recently moved in together)
Even though this was for an assignment, and I don't really have any trans classmates, I decided to go in really hard on something super personal, and I'm happy with the result. Though, I'd never make something this personal for school again...
Another piece of really old art, this one made for Trans Day of Remembrance, also for a while tumblr marked this as NSFW. Not sure why.
