I've never dated a cis person! Yippee!!!

For real though, I really think that it's important to be a part of a comminity like this, and the benefits to only dating trans people are massive- here are some now!

note: some trans people suck and will still make you feel bad about this stuff, but dating trans people lessens the likelyhood of this

But seriously, I love being t4t, it's genuinely really important to me. I've been dating a trans woman for over 5 (five!!) years now, and it's honestly one of the best things to ever happen to me, and I don't know if our relationship would be as profound if one of us was cis.

I just really wanted to take the time here to gush about how much I love my girlfriend, how much she means to me, and how much we've helped each other through our transitions. We're both on HRT, and it's actually pretty amusing to see the changes from the other side, and how fast those changes happen.

Basically, what I'm saying is that if you're trans and you've only dated cis people, give other trans people a try if you're able. I think we're all pretty great, and instead of focusing on infighting and identity politics, we should all be holding hands.
